Air Fryer Popovers

Watch these pop over the rim and straight into your heart. The rapid air circulation of the air fryer gives them that signature dramatic lift and hollow center. They are eggy, buttery, and surprisingly easy to whip up.

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F with empty silicone muffin cups or a small popover pan inside.
  2. Blend eggs, milk, flour, salt, and melted butter until smooth and frothy.
  3. Carefully remove the hot pan/cups and spray generously with oil.
  4. Fill each cup halfway with the batter.
  5. Place back in the air fryer and cook for 12-14 minutes without opening the drawer.
  6. Check that they are deeply browned and crisp.
  7. Pierce each popover with a knife to let steam escape and serve immediately.
