Leek Rings

We have to take a leek... and put it in the air fryer! Sliced leek rings crisp up like mild, sophisticated onion strings. They make a fantastic garnish for soups or a dangerously snackable side dish.

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the dark green tops off the leeks and slice the white and light green parts into 1/4-inch rings.
  3. Wash the rings thoroughly to remove grit, then pat completely dry.
  4. Toss gently with a light coating of oil and seasoning.
  5. Place in the air fryer basket, spreading them out as much as possible.
  6. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket frequently to prevent burning.
  7. Remove when they are golden brown and crispy.
