This peanut butter swirl variation on basic air fryer brownies adds richness and visual appeal. The powdered sugar in the peanut butter thins it slightly, so it swirls properly instead of sinking. Find the full recipe and air frying instructions here.

Steps
01Make the base brownie batter and pour into ramekins or pan.
02Mix the peanut butter with the powdered sugar to loosen it slightly.
03Drop small dollops of the peanut butter mixture on top of the batter.
04Use a toothpick or knife tip to swirl through the peanut butter, pulling it into the chocolate. Two or three passes. Don't over-swirl or it just mixes in.
05Ready for the air fryer.
The powdered sugar in the peanut butter isn't for sweetness. It thins the PB slightly so it swirls instead of sitting as a lump on top. Without it, the peanut butter sinks to the bottom during cooking.
