Bell Pepper Strips

These strips are a colorful addition to any fajita night or sandwich build. The air fryer softens them up and adds a nice roasted char without turning them to mush. They are simply a-maize-ing, even without the corn.

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Core and seed the bell peppers, then slice them into 1/2-inch strips.
  3. Toss the strips with oil and your favorite fajita or taco seasonings.
  4. Place in the air fryer basket, spreading them out as much as possible.
  5. Cook for 12 minutes, tossing well halfway through.
  6. The edges should be slightly blackened and the flesh tender.
  7. Remove and serve warm.
