Monkey bread is a pull-apart bread baked in a bundt pan, perfect for sharing. The air fryer makes it easy, producing a golden, cheesy top and a soft interior in minutes. You'll find a simple recipe using refrigerated biscuit dough, plus tips for maximum cheesiness.

  1. 01Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. You should have 32 small pieces.
  2. 02Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt in a bowl.
  3. 03Toss the dough pieces in the butter mixture until coated.
  4. 04Layer the dough pieces in a greased 6-inch bundt pan or cake pan, scattering mozzarella and parmesan between the layers as you go. Don't dump all the cheese on top. Build it in layers.
  5. 05Pour any remaining butter from the bowl over the top.
  6. 06Ready for the air fryer.
  7. 07Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then invert onto a plate. Scatter with parsley.
Layering the cheese between the dough pieces instead of mixing it in means the cheese melts into gooey strings when you pull the bread apart. That's the whole point of monkey bread. If you dump the cheese on top, it just forms a crust and the inside is plain.
