This recipe shows you how to make buffalo cauliflower in the air fryer. Tossing the cauliflower with buffalo sauce AFTER cooking keeps it crispy. Find the full recipe and air frying instructions here.
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
Oil spray
Salt
For the buffalo toss (apply after cooking):
3 tablespoons buffalo hot sauce (Frank's RedHot is the classic)
01Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Spray with oil. Season with salt only.
02Ready for the air fryer. Cook until charred on the edges and tender.
03While cooking, whisk the hot sauce, melted butter, and garlic powder.
04Toss the hot cauliflower in the buffalo sauce immediately after cooking.
05Serve with ranch or blue cheese and celery.
Sauce AFTER, never before. Buffalo sauce on raw cauliflower steams it instead of roasting it, and the sugars in the sauce burn on the basket. Air fry the cauliflower plain and crispy first, then toss. The hot surface absorbs the sauce and you get crispy buffalo cauliflower instead of soggy orange florets.
