For a sweet and savory twist on ribs, try this honey garlic glaze. It's added at the end to avoid burning. Find the recipe, tips on when to glaze, and air frying instructions inside.
Ingredients
1 rack baby back ribs, membrane removed, cut into sections
01Season ribs with salt and pepper. Remove membrane per base recipe.
02Air fry per food page for the first 80% of cook time (plain, no glaze).
03While cooking, whisk all glaze ingredients together in a small bowl.
04Pull the ribs out. Brush generously with the glaze on all sides.
05Return to air fryer for the remaining cook time. The glaze caramelizes and gets sticky.
06Brush with one more layer of glaze as soon as they come out.
The glaze goes on late, not early. Honey burns fast at high heat. If you glaze from the start, you get charred, bitter ribs. By applying it in the final minutes, the honey has just enough time to caramelize into a sticky, lacquered finish without burning. The double-brush (before and after the final cook) builds layers of flavor.
