Pork tenderloin cooks quickly and evenly in the air fryer. It's a lean and versatile protein that takes well to any seasoning. We'll show you how to achieve a perfectly cooked, juicy tenderloin with minimal effort.

  1. 01Trim the silver skin. It's the thin, shiny membrane on one side. Slide your knife under one end and pull while cutting. It doesn't break down during cooking and turns into a chewy, unpleasant strip.
  2. 02Rub with oil and season all over.
  3. 03Curve or fold the tenderloin if needed to fit your basket.
  4. 04Ready for the air fryer.
  5. 05Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into 1/2-inch medallions. Internal temp: 145°F.
Pork tenderloin is NOT the same as pork loin. Tenderloin is thin, narrow, and tender. Loin is wide, thick, and needs longer cooking. If your cut is wider than your fist, it's a loin, not a tenderloin, and the cooking time on this food page won't apply.
